The lads have been very busy, they got a mini digger in and started to digging the canal sorry track bed out to depth.
I could not make it to help, so Garry took the photos we have of them working, well some of them looking at the photos. I like to get some short handle spades to see if they would fall over when they lean on them? Well done lads looks the part.

A few more shots taken, The lads are removing the grass, sloping the bank in to the cutting, the putting the turf back to make a nice grass bank.

Just a bit more dug out, Dave is sorting the new bank out. He said there is a good view from of the top now!
