Statfold Steam in Miniature
7th & 8th May 2022
The Statfold Barn railway at Tamworth held their annual model traction engine rally. Phil Davis took the clubs 4" Burrell and trailer for a weekend away and had a wonderful time with good weather as a bonus. On the Sunday afternoon there was a prize award for best engine in show and our Burrell won which was a great surprise for Phil. The Burrell was given to the club as a complete kit of parts which required final assembly, painting and commissioning all this work was carried out at the clubs workshops at Balleny Green. So it's well done chaps to all the team who worked on the Burrell, Brian Clarke, Mick Brophy, Phil Davis, Mark Dale plus anyone else I have probably forgotten to mention.
